ご報告が遅くなりましたが、先々週、オースティン＠テキサスに引っ越してきました。
このパンデミックの状況で、無事に仕事のオファーをもらえたのは、とても嬉しいですし、次のステップに進むのに、少し時間がかかりましたが、外出自粛で自宅でゆっくり過ごせたのは休暇期間としては悪くなかったかなと。
パンデミックで、良くも悪くも、多くの人たちの人間性がすごく表に出ている気がしてますが、この環境の中でも、家族・友人・同僚・元ラボの学生たち、今まで至る所でお世話になった企業の方達など、暖かく見守り、サポートしてくれている人たちが沢山いることに、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
今は、新しいことばかりで大変ですが、物事は慣れていくもの。それまでは、1日1日を精一杯頑張り抜きたいところ。
世界が変わる、すごく大きな転換期になりそうな2020年も７ヶ月が過ぎ、ネガティブなニュースも多いですが、そんな環境だからこそ、周りの小さなことでもプラスな出来事に目を向けていけたらいいなと強く感じます。いつもとは違う環境だからこそ、小さな喜びや感謝の気持ちを大切にしていきたいところですね。
こまめに連絡を取り合う人たちの人数は限られていますが、改めて色々なところで繋がっている人たちが元気に過ごしていることを願ってます！
I moved to Austin, Texas two weeks ago.
I am so glad I found a scientist position and they offered me the position. I am also so grateful that I could find a position in this pandemic circumstance. It took a while to find the next steps, but it was not bad to spend time with my family and stay at home for a while. It was great long vacation for me.
I was feeling that this pandemic situation revealed people's personalities more in both good and bad ways. However, I received more kindness and warmful messages from my family, friends, colleagues, students who worked with me at former laboratories, and so on. I appreciate everyone who helped me, send me messages, and contact me all the time.
Right now, everything is "NEW" for me. "New things" will be getting used and will become my new normal. until the time. I will try to do my best to adjust to the new normal.
Already seven months past in 2020. There was and there is much negative news everywhere in the world. However, I want to focus on more positive news and information. I want to appreciate even in the small things in my life, like small happiness and small kindness.
I did not have a chance to say everyone how you are doing in recent days.

至る所で咲いている花。名前は不明ですが、黄色で夏っぽく気に入っています。
写真だとわかりにくいですが、、、めっちゃ大きいんですよ‼️手のひらサイズ＋αくらいには見えます。初めは壁のオブジェかと思ったら動いてました。ヒューストンとはサイズが違います。ワイルドな感じ。
山はないですが丘が沢山でヒルカントリーと呼ばれているらしい。確かに丘ですが、景色がいい。居住区周辺をランニングした時に撮影。丘が多いので、トレーニングには良さそう。
家の机からの景色。すごく目に優しい。疲れ知らずというより、むしろリラックスし過ぎてしまいそう。
